Hi lovelies! I won some Redken hair products a few months ago from Jennifer of spicedbeauty. I am currently using purple shampoos for my blonde hair, but I always welcome new hair serums and smoothing types of products into my routine. All of these products are designed for dry, brittle, fine hair that is prone to breakage and frizz. I have very fine, brittle hair due to all the bleaching and dying. The mid length to ends of my hair also tends to get very frizzy, especially if I don't blow dry my hair with a smoothing product.
The Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner are very light on the hair. The conditioner is a bit too light for me and I'd prefer a richer conditioner for my dry, brittle hair. I usually use A&G and Clairol Shimmerlights purple shampoos for my blonde hair and richer, length conditioners such as Herbal Essence Honey I'm Strong.
I really like this Redken Outshine 01 Anti-frizz Polishing Milk! I can apply this to wet hair and then blow dry. This helps detangle my hair and also makes my hair stronger and smoother. This also works well on dry hair to make it smoother, but doesn't make it feel greasy and heavy. I love this product!
The Redken Glass 01 Smoothing Serum is a very rich serum that works best for me when I use it on wet hair and then blow dry. For this product, a little goes a long way. It is very rich and I can really feel the silicons in it that helps smooth out my hair. This product also helps detangle my hair. I really like this product and it doesn't leave my hair feeling too heavy either.
Of all the products I received, the Redken All Soft Argan-6 Multi-care Hair Oil is the product that I use the most. I generally like to apply argan oil to my wet hair and then blow dry. This product is lovely on my hair and doesn't make it greasy or heavy as well.
Overall:
I am really impressed with the Redken hair products that I have received. All of the products are very light on the hair and work really well. I apply the product to my hair when it is wet and then I blow dry. The results I get is stronger, smoother, silkier hair that is easier to comb through without frizz. This is honestly how I have been maintaining the condition of my hair and repairing it after processing. Now that my hair is long, I try to take care of it more. My only concern is that I have no idea where I could purchase these products from Canada.
